So I went to this shopping center and around the corner is Metz Mets, those are the cars Metropolitan which were manufactured by American Morors in the late 50's and early 60's I spoke with them and they would like to be at the 1st Annual East County Veterans car show at the "L" street launch on the Sacramento river, hope to see you there as well!

I went shopping in the morning and these were members of the Legion Riders part of the American legion they had just finished riding in a funeral for a Veteran who had past away recently, God Bless the men and women who serve!!

Let me start by stating that this is Veterans week this Sunday Veterans are treated very well at most restaurants around the nation so I will be at my favorite haunts tomorrow, hope to see many of my friends there!

 I hope, the production is in process and we are working on our staff so this will be a job, in the mean time we are planning on visiting some of the factories as soon as spring arrives, so please sit back read and enjoy!

We will of course talk a lot about American motorcycles and the fact is there are new companies that few people hear about so lets start by introducing you to SAXON MOTORCYCLES.  Models include the Firestorm, Warlord, Griffin, Crown, Hot rod Sceptre, Villain, Reaper and the Whip.

Distribution is far and wide including first America, Canada, Europe, Japan and gulf coast countries.  They have some nice looking bikes and some I did not like, you will have to make up your own mind if you like them or not.

 Next we visit Victory  Motorcycles known as the newest maker of motorcycles in America.  They offer a full line of products including ATV, racing bikes, touring bikes, street bikes, touring bikes, dirt bikes and they are the makers of Polaris products as well which produce 4 wheelers, off road vehicles, snow mobiles low emission vehicles and military vehicles.  The factory is located in Medina Minnesota. In 1994  a new company hit the scene called "Big Dog Motorcycles, registered as an LLC company, they are reportedly the largest manufacturer of custom motorcycles.   They produce five different motorcycles using the V-Twin 117 cubic inch engine with either fuel injection or carburetors, including a fantastic six speed transmission, with a stretch In-line steel tank,  super fat tires I personally do not like, right side drive,  lots of chrome parts to make it custom which I like.   I found that the steel fenders may make it a better buy, they also have a number of different paint colors and graphics in order to make them custom, which I think is excellent!  The company claims they have a dealer network of 100 dealers throughout the U.S.  The company has a facility in Wichita Kansas of 175,000 square feet is their world headquarters.   A publication called Dealer News ranked big Dog as the number one manufacturer of V-Twin motorcycles. motorcycle with this or any model they make the X132 Hellcat looks like a pregnant something not sure and the R131 Fighter looks like something RoboCop would ride not none of me, sorry Confederate,
